    Decisions

    The Deputies

    1. took note of the synopsis of the GR-EDS meeting held on 18 June 2004 (GR-EDS(2004)CB9);

    2. with respect to Bosnia and Herzegovina

    a. took note of the Secretariat 7th report on compliance with obligations and commitments and implementation of post accession cooperation programme with Bosnia and Herzegovina (document SG/Inf(2004)17rev.);

    b. invited the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina to pursue democratic reforms and continue to make significant progress towards fully honouring all the commitments entered into two years ago on accession to the Council of Europe and, in particular, to give the appropriate follow-up to recommendations for action appearing in part VII of the Secretariat report;

    c. welcomed, in this context, the recent publication of the new report of the Srebrenica Commission and asked the authorities to take more active measures on the issue of missing persons, to fully cooperate with the ICTY and to strengthen efforts towards justice and reconciliation.
