Replies from the Committee of Ministers to Congress Recommendations

 

At their 1185th (Budget) meeting (19-20 November 2013) (CM/Del/Dec(2013)1185/12.1), the Deputies adopted the following reply to the texts adopted by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe at its 25th Plenary Session (Strasbourg, 29-31 October 2013):

    “The Committee of Ministers has taken note of Recommendations 340 to 350 (2013) and Resolutions 306 (2010) rev, 307 (2010) rev2, 353 (2013) rev, 356 (2013) to 363 (2013) adopted by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe at its 25th Plenary Session (Strasbourg, 29-31 October 2013).

    The Committee of Ministers has forwarded the recommendations to the competent intergovernmental committees and Council of Europe bodies for information and comments, as appropriate.

    Finally, the Committee of Ministers has entrusted Recommendations 340, 343, 346 and 347 (2013) to its relevant Rapporteur Groups to prepare draft replies for adoption at one of its forthcoming meetings.”

At their 1168th meeting (10 April 2013) (CM/Del/Dec(2013)1168/12.1), the Deputies adopted the following reply to the texts adopted by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe at its 24th plenary session (Strasbourg, 19-21 March 2013):

    “The Committee of Ministers has taken note of Recommendations 334 to 339 (2013), Resolutions 352 to 355 (2013) and the Declaration 1 adopted by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe at its 24th plenary session (Strasbourg, 19-21 March 2013).

    The Committee of Ministers has forwarded Recommendations 334 to 339 (2013) to the member States concerned and Recommendations 338 and 339 (2013) to the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission), for information.”
