Budget of the European Pharmacopoeia and adjustment of the scale of contributions of member states to the budgets of the Council of Europe
(CM(2009)130 vol3, CM(2009)95 and CM(2009)131)

Decisions

A. The Deputies, in their composition restricted to the Representatives of the States Parties in 2008 to the Convention on the Elaboration of a European Pharmacopoeia,1

1. decided to apportion the amount of €1 million from the credit balance of the previous year’s budget, among the States Parties as indicated at Appendix 14 to the present volume of Decisions;

2. agreed that each State Party would officially inform the Secretary General of its choice regarding the allocation of the amount due to it.

B. The Deputies, in their composition restricted to the Representatives of the States Parties to the Convention on the Elaboration of a European Pharmacopoeia,2

1. approved the scale of contributions for 2010 and consequently adopted Resolution CM/Res(2009)29, as it appears at Appendix 15 to the present volume of Decisions;

2. approved, with effect from 1 January 2010, the creation of 2 A2/3 positions and 2 B4 positions;

3. took note of the EDQM medium-term investment plan 2010-2013, as it appears in document CM(2009)130 vol3 (pages 35-43);

4. approved the 2010 Investment Programme, as it appears in document CM(2009)130 vol3 (page 43), for a total of €2 712 500;

5. approved the 2010 budget of the European Pharmacopoeia and consequently adopted Resolution CM/Res(2009)30, as it appears at Appendix 16 to the present volume of Decisions.
