Presidency of the Eurimages Board of Management
Reykjavik, 16.10.2008 – At its 112th meeting from 12 to 15 October 2008 in Iceland, the Board of Management of the Council of Europe's Eurimages Fund re-elected by acclamation its current President, Mr Jacques Toubon, for a fourth mandate of one year (until the end of 2009). It also elected in anticipation its future President, Mr Jobst Plog, for a first two-year mandate starting on 20 November 2009 until 19 November 2011.
Mr Jobst Plog has held the posts of President of the Association of Public Broadcasting Corporations in Germany (ARD), Director-General of the North-German public broadcasting channel Norddeutscher Rundfunk, and President of the German-French culture channel ARTE, among others. He is currently vice-president of ARTE General Assembly and heads the Board of Supervisors of Studio Hamburg, a leading film and television production company in Germany.

EURIMAGES is a support fund for the co-production, distribution and exhibition of European cinematographic works, established by the Council of Europe in 1988 1 (E-mail: Eurimages@coe.int – Web: http://www.coe.int/Eurimages).
Since its establishment in 1988, EURIMAGES has supported 1225 European co-productions for a total amount of approximately 360 million Euros.
