Eurimages supports 12 European co-productions

STRASBOURG, 30.06.2006 - At its 101st meeting held from 25 to 27 June 2006 in Lisbon, the Board of Management of Eurimages, the Council of Europe support Fund, agreed to support 12 feature films for a total amount of 4,158,500 Euros.

The feature films are :

Within the framework of the Eurimages’ Cinema Support scheme, the Board of Management decided to include in the network the 8 following cinemas:

    · Romania :

- Libertatea, Oradea

    · Serbia :

- Cinéma Zrenjanin, Zrenjanin,
- Multimedijalni centar MRKvart, Kraljevo
- Dvorana Kulturnog Centra, Belgrade

    · Turkey :

- Cinebonus, Adana
- Cinema Hayal, Fethiye Mugla.

Consequently, the Europa Cinemas/Eurimages network comprises 49 cinemas.
Futhermore, the Board of Management has adopted the 2007 meeting dates as well as the deadlines for submission of the application requests, i.e.:
