Lithuania joins Eurimages
STRASBOURG, 31.05.2007 - The Lithuanian authorities have just notified their membership to the Eurimages Fund in response to the recommendation made by the Board of Management of Eurimages at its 99th meeting, on 5-7 March 2006. Thus Lithuania is the 33rd country to join EURIMAGES, the support fund for the co-production, distribution and exhibition of European cinematographic works.
Consequently all projects involving a co-producer from Lithuania can be examined for the forthcoming 2007 meetings of the Eurimages Board of Management: Calendar of meetings.

EURIMAGES is a support fund for co-production, distribution and exhibition of European cinematographic works, established by the Council of Europe in 1988 1 (E-mail: – Web: http://www.coe.int/Eurimages). Since its establishment, EURIMAGES has supported 1142 European co-productions for a total amount of more than 334 million Euros.
