Pension Reserve Fund – Actuarial study
1. took note of the findings of the actuarial study, as they appear in document CM(2008)59;
2. invited the Secretary General to make proposals in order to meet the financing requirements of the Pension Reserve Fund as set out in the latest actuarial study, in the light of the Budget Committee report (document CM(2008)88) and observations by delegations;
3. instructed the Secretariat, in consultation with the Joint Pensions Administrative Section (JPAS), to conduct studies with a view to making alternative proposals on pension schemes for the future, bearing in mind the Organisation’s long-term pensions liabilities.
