Introduction

The calendar of events of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe for 2014 appears in the Appendix. The 26^th Session of the Congress will take place from 25–27 March 2014. The draft agenda and more detailed information on the progress of the session can be accessed on the Congress website www.coe.int/congress

The first part of the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) was held on 27-31 January 2014. The second part of the plenary session of the PACE will take place on 7-11 April 2014. Other information on the sessions of the PACE (order of business, working documents, other documents adopted, speeches and verbatim reports) may be found on its website http://assembly.coe.int.

Action required

The CDDG members are invited to take note of the work of the above-mentioned bodies of the Council of Europe.
